Roles We Hire For

Step 1: Complete Inquiry Form

Begin by filling out our brief Client Inquiry Form. This helps us understand your immediate needs, the type of role you’re looking to fill, and the qualities that matter most to you in a candidate.

Step 2: Discovery & Intake Meeting

Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll schedule a private intake meeting to dive deeper into your household or business dynamics, expectations, and ideal candidate profile. This is a highly personalized conversation—led by one of our founders or senior placement consultants—so we can understand not just the logistics, but the nuances of your lifestyle.

Step 3: Search & Recruitment

With your priorities in mind, we launch a targeted search using our curated candidate network and specialized recruitment strategies. Every candidate undergoes a rigorous screening process to ensure they meet The Hire Standard in experience, character, and discretion.

Step 4: Matchmaking

We hand-select and present only the most aligned candidates for your consideration. Our matching process is grounded in empathy, compatibility, and professionalism—not just resumes. We’re looking for the right fit, not just a fast fill.

Step 5: Meet & Greet

You’ll meet your top 1–2 candidates via Zoom and/or in-person meetings. These are casual yet curated touchpoints designed to help you gauge personality, communication style, and potential synergy. We guide both parties through the process to ensure clarity, comfort, and discretion.

Step 6: Offer & Work Agreement

Once you’ve selected your ideal candidate, we assist in drafting and presenting a formal offer. We’ll help align expectations, discuss terms, and support both sides in outlining a clear, respectful work agreement that fosters long-term success.

Step 7: Background Check & Final Invoice

Before placement is finalized, we conduct a thorough background check (including reference checks, identity verification, and optional additional screenings based on role). A final invoice is issued upon offer acceptance and successful vetting.

What to Expect When Working With The Hire Standard Co.

We are committed to delivering a personalized, discreet, and high-touch placement experience from start to finish. As a boutique luxury staffing firm, we devote significant time and care to sourcing candidates who meet the highest standards of excellence, integrity, and alignment with your unique household or business needs.

  • To ensure a seamless and thoughtful search, The Hire Standard Co. charges a recruitment service fee equal to 15% of the candidate’s gross annual compensation.

    • This fee applies to both full-time and part-time roles.

    • For part-time positions, compensation is calculated based on a minimum of 20 hours per week, regardless of the actual hours offered.

    • Please note: This fee is due upon identification of a suitable candidate, even if the client chooses not to proceed or terminates the process for any reason.

      We invest heavily in candidate sourcing, screening, and matchmaking—because our standard is your peace of mind.

  • To initiate your search, we require a non-refundable deposit of $500, which will be applied toward your final placement fee. This deposit allows us to begin the recruitment process with priority attention, ensuring your search is launched with focus and urgency.

We stand behind the quality of every placement we make. If your new hire’s employment ends within the first 90 days, or if you are not fully satisfied with the placement, The Hire Standard Co. offers a one-time replacement search at no additional cost.

Placement Guarantee

    1. Hire Standard Co. must be notified of employment change with within 7 days of the candidate’s departure

    2. It is valid only if the role and expectations have not materially changed since the original search.

    3. The guarantee does not apply if the candidate resigns due to unsafe or inappropriate working conditions.

    4. The guarantee applies only once per placement
